All Basic Schools Breaks For Easter Holidays: Check Out For More Details.

Easter is one of the festivities which is celebrated by a section of Christians. Due to its nature and how it is been celebrated by the majority of Christians, all the days used for the celebration are declared as holidays.

All the basic schools under the watch of the Ghana Education Service (GES) reopened school recently on 3rd April 2023. Some teachers even struggled for the vacation period to last longer so that the students can celebrate the festivity before returning to school. However, their wish was not granted. On Monday 3rd April 2023, they resumed, and on Thursday 6th April 2023, all the basic schools in Ghana has to go on break (Easter break).

All basic school students will enjoy these holidays till Monday 10th April 2023. The activities for the celebration of Easter have a breakdown. 7th April 2023 is Good Friday. It was noted that Jesus Christ was killed on that Friday. 9th April 2023 will be the Resurrected Sunday and Monday 10th April 2023 will be the Easter Picnic. With these, all basic school students will return to school on Tuesday 11th April 2023. All other information will be disclosed accordingly.

Parents will be advised to take very good care of their children in this festivity. Children must not be allowed to go to unknown places all in the name of celebrating Easter.

Teachers should also work alongside parents to help them to nurture their children both in school and at home. The care of a child is not a sole responsibility of one individual.
