All Unregistered SIMs to be permanently Disconnected on 31st July: Full details
All unregistered SIMs are to be permanently disconnected on 31st July. This is in line with the rules outlined by the NCA prior to the commencement of the re-registration exercise.
In line with this Vodafone has called on its customers who are yet to register their SIMs to do so.
Vodafone is giving away a cool 4 GB of data from now until 31st July for all who re-register their SIM cards with the network during this grace period.
“Register your SIM card now to avoid permanent disconnection. Visit any Vodafone retail centre or agent before 31st May 2023 and get 4 GB of free data plus 100 minutes of talk time.”
Don’t wait until your SIM card gets disconnected permanently, walk into any office of your Telco Service provider near you with your Ghana Card and register to stay connected.
This is sad yet don’t wait for your SIM card to be disconnected permanently Dial *400# to check your registration status
Once the SIMs are disconnected, they may be issued to another user. However, some members of the public are still yet to get their Ghana cards.

Again, there are still criminals out there using unregistered SIMs to dupe people via Momo transactions and the disconnection of all unregistered SIMs will help safeguard the public from such criminals.
