Amoako Atta Is The Best Minister – Akufo Addo Replies Critics
President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo praised Minister for Roads and Highways Kwasi Amoako-Atta for his great work at the ministry.
President Akufo-Addo says that the Roads and Highways Minister has done more than any of his predecessors in the ministry’s history. He also says that his work rate and the number of kilometers of roads he has built show that he has no rival in the road sector.
“I don’t think any other minister has a record as good as Kwasi Amoako Atta’s. The President said, “There is no one.”
He said this on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, in Kumasi, when he turned the first sod for the 4-tier Suame Interchange, which is part of Afreximbank’s US$750Million facility.
President Akufo-Addo used the ceremony as a chance to talk to the Ashanti people about what his government has done for the area.

He said that his government has finished 86 road projects with a total length of 1,850 kilometers in the Ashanti region. Another 310 projects have been given contracts and are in the process of being built.
“When I took over the government from John Mahama, he said that the way infrastructure was built during his time was the first time it had ever been done.
“As soon as I took office, I went on a tour of the country, and everywhere I went, people told me how bad their roads were.
So, he said, it was clear to him that John Mahama’s claims about building infrastructure that had never been done before were not true.
