Asamoah Gyan’s Singing Praise Song Resurfaces and Sparks Online Buzz

Asamoah Gyan’s Singing Praise Song Resurfaces and Sparks Online Buzz. This was after an old video of Baby Jet Asamoah Gyan started making waves on the internet after the Black Stars exited the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
In the said video, Asamoah Gyan could be heard singing Obaapa Christy’s song, which means to explain that ‘God has saved him’. This followed a penalty miss from Dede Ayew, captain of the team.
Ghana started the game on the front foot, as they nearly took the lead in the opening stages of the game. Ghana was handed a glorious opportunity to take the lead from the penalty spot but Ayew couldn’t find a way past Uruguay’s goalkeeper from just 12 yards out.
Things got even worse for Ghana in the 26th minute as De Arrascaeta found the back of the net for Uruguay. It got even better for Uruguay in the 32nd minute, as Arrascaeta scored yet another brilliant goal after receiving a delightful pass from Suarez.
Arrascaeta’s double strike proved enough to secure all three points for Uruguay as the Black Stars couldn’t find their way back into the game.
However, Ghana would have themselves to blame for their surprising exit from the tournament because they wasted the opportunity to change the tempo of the game in the early stages.
The Black Stars had a glorious opportunity to take the lead in the opening stages of the game but failed to take it. There is no doubt that Uruguay would have found it difficult to get back into the game if Ayew had scored from the penalty spot earlier on.
Luis Suarez broke down in tears after receiving the news that South Korea had snatched a late winner against Portugal to dump Uruguay out of the World Cup. The South American side done everything they needed to do by beating Ghana 2-0 in their final Group H fixture but Hwang Hee-chan’s late strike put South Korea through in second in extraordinary circumstances.
For the second time, Ghana has failed to convert a penalty against Uruguay during normal play. Ghana did not look like they were in this game to win. The team engaged in needless square passes, with a poor defensive setup which Uruguay capitalized on and played a good first half. It will take a miracle for the Black Stars to secure a draw on the night.
