Ben Ephson is bleeding on Twitter after failed General Mosquito election loss “Prophesy”. The pollster predicted that, it was nearly impossible for Johnson Asiedu Nketie the former General Secretary of the NDC to win the Chairmanship contest against the then Chairman Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo.
His predictions hit the wires when General Mosquito convincingly beat Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo to become the new Chairman of the NDC ahead of the 2024 NDC elections.
He made it look as though there was no way General Mosquito was going to pull any votes, which many in the NDC has concluded to be an attempt by Ben Ephson to tilt the results for his own interest as an outsider.
According to the NDC faithfuls celebrating the win for now Chairman General Mosquito, “there was obviously no contest, and it didn’t require a quantum physicist or a rocket scientist to predict that General Mosquito was winning, from day 1. Meanwhile, a certain pollster thought otherwise. Greetings to Ben Ephson Christ me !!” the tweet said.
NDC faithfuls are questioning the credibility of pollster Ben Ephson’s especially when he has also predicted that Dr. Duffuor will make Mahama sweat for NDC’s flag bearer slot.
Ghanaian are trolling the pollster on Twitter and have indicated that anyone who trustS Ben Ephson and his election predictions in recent times would be disappointed since he only engages in guess work. “Oh, Ben Ephson’s prediction are not even the Betway type. They are behind the lotto kiosks prediction” another comment teased.
It looks as though the days of glory for Ben Ephson and his prediction are over as a new pollster on Twitter, ipoll @iPollgh has become more reliable with each prediction matching the reality and outcomes at the end of elections.
After Ghanaians praises the new pollster for an excellent prediction of all results at the NDC e national executives elections, this is what the pollster had to say. “iPoll, welcome to the new generation of polling, we predicted all the positions. It’s doable!!! Let the data speak in a more insightful way!!!”
“It’s time for Ben Ephson to retire his rudimentary guesswork aka fake polls.” is the advice given him after failed predictions.
