Lasmid Nathaniel Owusu is a well-known Ghanaian songwriter and rapper. He is popularly known as Lasmid. Lasmid won the new artiste of the year at the 2023 VGMA.
Lasmid was considered an underground artist until 2022, when his single “Friday night” made local and international waves. Lasmid is still quite young and has a bright future in Ghana’s music industry.
Lasmid won the eighth edition of the MTN Hitmaker in 2019 and a GHC 120,000 recording contract. He is currently signed to the label Highly Spiritual Recordings.
