Buaben Asamoa Reveals Impact on Family after dismissal, Especially Child’s School Life

Former member of the NPP, Yaw Buaben Asamoa, recently spoke out about the far-reaching consequences of his dismissal from the party, shedding light on the toll it has taken on his family, particularly his child. The dismissal came as a result of his decision, along with three others, to endorse Alan Kyerematen, the leader of the Movement for Change and a former member of the NPP.

In a candid interview with Kwesi Parker-Wilson on Oyerepa TV on Monday, November 27, 2024, Buaben Asamoa expressed how the announcement of his dismissal had impacted his family dynamics. He revealed that his child has become a victim of mockery at school, citing the reason as his father’s expulsion from the party.
“When you offer yourself to lead people, it is a huge responsibility. In my case, it has affected my wife and children. With the question you are asking me now, my child has become a victim of mockery because his father was dismissed. Now, he is unable to focus, and it is affecting his studies,” Buaben Asamoa lamented.

The former NPP member emphasized that the circumstances surrounding his departure from the party should not be taken lightly. Addressing speculations that he left the party out of annoyance, he clarified, “Some are saying I left the party because I am annoyed. That cannot be taken lightly. As they keep saying that he is annoyed because someone else is leading the party, they should know that what they themselves are annoying and displeasing. I am not annoyed at anything going on,” he added.
