The Ghana Education Service (GES) 3-Day CCP Training Schedule for JHS teachers is out. Per the information available to Ghanaeducation.org, the CCP training for JHS teachers would cover the following topics/areas
Day 1: General Presentation and Discussions covering the CCP, General Presentation on Barriers to Learning and Creative Pedagogies, Teaching and Learning Resources (Forecast and Stages of a Lesson) among others.
Day two of the JHS 3-Day CCP Training will cover the following:
a. Subject Group Plenary Presentation: Introduction to the new CCP Subject-Curriculum (Major or first Subject Area) highlighting the changes in content and pedagogies including cross-curriculum links and cross-cutting issues.
b. Subject Groups Discussion on the changes in content and pedagogies including cross-curriculum links and cross-cutting issues.
c. Study of Subject-based Resource Packs
d. Subject-based Lesson Planning for Demonstration
Day 3 of the JHS 3-Day CCP Training will cover the following:
a. Subject Group Plenary Presentation: Introduction to the new CCP Subject-Curriculum (Minor or second Subject Area) highlighting the changes in content and pedagogies including cross-curriculum links and cross-cutting issues.
b.Study of Subject-based Resource Packs
c. Subject-based Lesson Demonstration for Plenary Discussions with emphasis on creative pedagogies
d. Subject-based Lesson Demonstration for Plenary Discussions with emphasis on assessment
