She was consolingly surrounded by a small group of people at the airport as she sat quietly among them.
She struggled to find the right words to reply, so all she could manage was a few hesitant nods in response to the comforting messages.
The airport was filled with sadness and grief, but there was also a sense of belonging and solidarity. People from all walks of life were brought together by Atsu’s passing because of their shared admiration and respect for the gifted football player.
