Whiles government is to give the 23rd nation’s address on Covid-19 tonight, the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has called on the government to consider a second-time school closure.
The call was made by a leading member of the opposition party, Dzifa Gunu who in a social media post sighted by this portal.
She indicated that the coronavirus situation is currently out of control, hence the need for school closure.
“At least I expect Akufo-Addo to close the schools again…The situation is out of control, he slept on the job”, the NDC activist stated.
President Akufo-Addo Sunday, January 31, 2021, is expected to address the nation on the government measures put in place to slow and curb the spread of the locally transmitted coronavirus that has claimed 405 lives.
