Colleges of Education first-class rankings is out as Ada CoE tops all colleges in the Eastern and Western League. The academic ranking of the 46 Colleges of Education based on the number of first-class honours produced at the end of the 2020 academic year.

Per the records, the #FirstClass ‘league table for the 2020 DBE Graduands of CoEs in the Eastern-Greater Accra Zone, Ada College of Education came tops.
For the year under review, Ada College of Education produced 30 first-class honours, which was four more than the Presbyterian College of Education, Akropong, which placed 2nd with 26 first-class honours.
The Accra College of Education and Mount Mary College of Education came third with 24 honours each.
The remaining best performers in the Colleges in Ghana first-class rankings league table are
Abetifi College of Education – 13 honours
SDA College of Education – 10 honours
Kibi Presbyterian College of Education – 5 honours
Methodist College of Education, Akim Oda – 4 honours
Presbyterian Women College of Education, Aburi – 1 honours

The colleges of education first-class rankings compiled by the COE weekly journal is expected to create better competition and health rivalry among the various colleges.
The league table means that the best perming schools in the Eastern and Western regions are nine in all.
