Daniel Amartey buys car for man who bought him ‘ice kenkey’ 12 years ago
Black Stars defender, Daniel Amartey, gave a car to a man for being kind to him 12 years ago.
According to Angel FM’s Saddick Adams, the car was given to a neighborhood coach who used to train lads like Daniel Amartey.
On that fateful day, the coach was impressed with a then-young Amartey’s performance and decided to buy mashed kenkey for him as a form of motivation.
However, the food presented to Amartey was a life-saving gesture because the young player was starving and had nothing to eat at the time.
Amartey remembered the gesture and decided to express his gratitude to his coach 12 years later by presenting him with a Toyota Vitz.
A video of the presentation shared by the sports journalist and spotted by Ghanaeducation News shows representatives of the Leicester City striker handing over the car to a man who couldn’t hide his delight.
