The big question that needs to be answered is whether the Finance Minister, Hon. Ken Ofori-Atta wants to die while in office or he will choose to do himself and the people of Ghana a lot of good by humbling resigning from his post?
Videos circulating on Social Media from the first sitting of the Committee sitting on the Minority Caucus Vote of Censure put before parliament shows that, the Minister is not doing well health-wise.
The most prudent thing to do is to get medical attention and peace of mind by bowing out of the position gracefully instead of subjecting himself to this energy and time-demanding committee sittings.
In the past, we have seen people collapse at such hearings and that is a worry given the way he was feeling and behaving during the first day’s sitting.
From all indications, he is not well. He needs to take care of his health. Ken Ofori-Att must do himself good by resigning.
The Finance Minister must start considering his personal position on this matter devoid of his political posture if he is to make an informed decision by listening to his body and health alerts. If he is not medically fit to carry out his duties, he has a great opportunity to make a choice between his health and the job of the Finance Minister.
The question remains, Does Hon. Ken Ofori-Atta Want To “DIE” As Minister of Finance? Check the comments and reactions of Ghanaians on Twitter.
