Dollar to Cedi Exchange Rates for Saturday 25 February 2023 out for all banks and forex bureaus. The cedi is selling at $1 for Ghs13.20 in Forex bureaus. Clearly, the local currency is heading towards Ghs14.00 per dollar. The US Dollar to Ghanaian Cedi Rates quoted by various stakeholders in the forex market is expected to go up further against the local currency until Ghana gets a deal through with the IMF.
The currency continued to depreciate as the government’s effort to negotiate for debt cancellation by China got postponed until the end of March. Ghana has also been downgraded further by rating agencies which further destabilizes the cedi.
