Dr Eric Nkansah joins Ghana Muslim Mission to Mark 62nd Annual National Conference

Dr Eric Nkansah joined the Ghana Muslim Mission at their 62nd Annual National Conference at the Ghana Muslim Mission Senior High School at Beposo in the Ashanti Region on Sunday, 1st January 2023.
The National Chairman of the Mission, Sheikh Dr Amin Bonsu, applauded the Free SHS programme.
He emphasized that since the introduction of the programme, several children from the Muslim community have enjoyed access to quality and equitable education, which will ultimately empower them with the relevant skills needed to succeed.
The speakers at the conference delivered speeches on the theme: “Holistic Education, the Key to the Development of Islam and Ghana”.
In his address, Dr Nkansah, the Ag. Director-General of GES, commended the Ghana Muslim Mission for their immense contributions to Ghana’s education sector. He also assured the Mission of the government’s continuous support towards the progress of their schools.
Some dignitaries at the conference were the Omanhene of the Beposo Traditional Council, Nana Boamah Kwabi IV, Member of Parliament for Nsuta, Kwamang, Beposo constituency, Hon. Adelaide Ntim; National Imam of Ghana Muslim Mission, Sheikh Haruna Nkansah Agyekum; Executive Secretary of the Baraka Policy Institute, Dr Zagoon Haroun Saeed and the Ashanti Regional Imam, Sheikh Abdul Mumeen Haroun.
The conference aimed to raise funds to support the construction of lecture rooms and a hundred and twenty (120) bed dormitory for the Ghana Muslim Mission College of Education, Beposo.
