According to the GES, students can change the schools they selected through the self-placement portal. Yes. A candidate, who got placed in a school through self-placement, can change the school on the portal as long as that candidate has not enrolled in the school.

FAQs 2: Can a student change residential status or programme of study after placement?

No, you cannot change your residential status. This means, once you are given admission as a day student, you cannot change to boarding and vice versa.
