EPCG Children Ministry, Madina Zone Holds 2022 Carol Service
The Madina Zone of the EPCG Children Ministry has held its 2022 Carol Service to usher in the Christmas festivities and birth of Jesus the Christ.
The event which was held on Saturday, 17th December 2022 at the Amrahia Shalom Congregation of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church brought over 10 congregations together.
It brought together over 10 children ministries of the Madina Zone of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church together.
The nine-lesson and carols was part of efforts to celebrate the faithfulness of God throughout the year and to bring all the Sunday Schools of the Church within the Zone together to have fun and socialize among others.

The Children Ministries within the Zone that graced the colourful carol service were Amrahia, Danfa, Madina, Adenta, Obgbojo, and North Legon. Others were Teiman, Ashaley Botwe, Maranatha, Abokobi, Madina Estate, Frafraha, Nmai Dzorn, and Ashongman Estate.
Children of the various Children ministries present read the nine lessons and sang Christmas carols to usher in the Christmas season.
Delivering the message for the day on behalf of the New Legon District Pastor Rev. Daniel K. Torvinyo, Rev. Mrs. Patience Y. Akator (Rtd) charged all children to go out and shine like Christ since God has descended among them with his grace and light for the world.
“The story about Jesus is a big story of the Bible, and everything about Christ was planned by God. It is very beautiful to know that Jesus came into the world as a child” She said.

She furthered that, the carols and readings from the children remind us of God’s saving plan for mankind.
She called on the children to behave like Christ Jesus who brought peace and joy to the world, listened to and did the will of God.
Sunday school kids were also challenged to respect and be obedient at home and at the children’s ministry so that they will not depart from the truth.
“The biggest command for children is to obey their parents so that they can live long in this life” Rev. Mrs. Patience Y. Akator added.

She prayed for divine wisdom and the spirit of understanding for the children present at the 2022 Carol Service.
The reason for celebrating Christmas is Christ, and he will come again to judge, Rev. Daniel K. Torvinyo said while addressing the children gathered.
He tasked all teachers and children at the Children’s Ministry to engage in only acts that will make Christ happy and flee from sin.
At the end of the service, there was a mammoth fanfare to crown the year and the service.
The children had a bouncy castle experience, others engaged in football, Athletics, and Ampe.
