Europa League: UEFA Awards Mohammed Kudus Second Goal After 3-1 Victory Against Backa Topola

UEFA have changed their stance and awarded former Ajax player, Mohammed Kudus his second goal after declaring it an own goal against Backa Topola. Mohammed Kudus, scored his second West Ham goal in the Europa League on Thursday.
On Thursday night, West Ham beat Backa Topola 3-1 after going behind first with an early goal from the visitors. Mohammed Kudus equalized for the hammers in the 66th minute and also scored a goal in the 70th minute which was declared an own goal on Thursday night.
Seemingly, UEFA have changed their stance and awarded the own goal as a goal scored by the West Ham ace man, Mohammed Kudus. This is a great start for the Ghanaian international. His first two goals in the Europa League for West Ham.
The 23-year-old ace attacking midfielder equalized the goal for West Ham with a solo finish. The equalizer was deemed to be an own goal on Thursday night, but, as of today, UEFA have awarded the goal to Mohammed Kudus.
However, Mohammed Kudus has two goals registered in his name in their first Europa League match against Backa Topola.

The Europa League is played on Thursday evenings after the Champions League matches from Tuesday to Wednesday.
On Thursday evening, West Ham were trailing by a goal to nil as of the 65th minute. The former Ajax player and the Ghanaian born lethal attacking midfielder, Mohammed Kudus, equalized for the Hammers in the 66th minute.
The goal was first given as an own goal. Per the official website for the UEFA Europa League, the goal has been given to Mohammed Kudus.
The 23-year-old player registered two goals to his name on the night of his first Europa League debut for West Ham.
This will be a massive boost for Mohammed Kudus and give him an outrageous confidence. West Ham plays Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday, 24th September 2023 at 1pm GMT.
