Female teacher beaten to death by her lover

Female Teacher beaten to death by her lover over her refusal to move in to live with him. The 32-year-old teacher, Yaa Linda, was severely beaten by a man he calls his fiancé who she had four children, although they were not legally married.

The sad demise of Yaa Linda happened on Friday evening in Ajumako in the Central Region. According to informatization gathered by Ghanaeducation.org, Teacher Yaa Linda has been living with his lover, Eric Sasa for more than 8 years.

Linda is said to have informed the suspect, Eric, a 33-year-old  teacher at Gomoa Ajumako Methodist Basic School all in the same town that he should initiate the processes to perform the necessary marriage rites so that the two can live as married couples.

Several attempts to get Eric to do what is necessary failed. The lack of will to marry Linda, compelled her to rent her own apartment and moved out with their four children, and stop seeing him. Close sources to the two indicated that Linda informed Eric that she was not going to move in with him until he performs her marriage rites.

This angered Eric. He went to her new residence and attacked her, He is said to have beaten the mess out of her while their four children looked on helpless. To seek for help for their mother, the four children dashed out of the room screaming for help for their mother. Their screams “He is killing our mother ooo…” caught the attention of residents who moved in quickly, but Eric rushed out of the residence before the people got there, and was nowhere to be found since then.

Sadly, Yaa Linda lay lifeless when the residents of the area go to the scene. She was rushed to the Apam Government Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.

The body of the deceased has been since deposited at the Apam Government Hospital mortuary. On Saturday, March 12, 2022, the suspect was found unconscious after drinking a poisonous substance and currently receiving treatment at the Apam Government Hospital.
