There is no evidence that men commit suicide because a lady denies them sex however, the following may to some extent contribute to the making of the wrong decision just as in the case of Akwasi Antwi
- Mental health conditions: Depression, anxiety, and other mental health conditions are often associated with suicide.
- Trauma: Experiencing trauma, such as abuse, neglect, or violence, can increase the risk of suicide.
- Substance abuse: Alcohol and drug abuse can also increase the risk of suicide.
- Feelings of hopelessness: Feeling like there is no hope for the future can be a major factor in suicide.
- Lack of social support: Having a strong social support system can help to protect against suicide. People who feel isolated and alone are more likely to attempt suicide.
