The Chief of Prisons

The Chief Superintendent of Prisons is the second person in charge after the Assistant Director of Prisons.
He or she is in charge of making sure that everything inside the prison walls works well and is organized.
Taking care of the facilities and making sure they are used and kept in good shape. Also making sure that inmates’ rights and well-being are not violated. He is also in charge of running services for rehabilitation.
Deputy Director of Prisons (Supt. Of Prisons)
At headquarters or the central prison, he or she is in charge when the Chief Superintendent of Prisons is not there. He or she is in charge of the unit or is the second in command.
A person who works in prisons is called a Deputy Superintendent of Prisons.
One of his or her jobs is to give permission for prisoners to be escorted inside and outside the jail. He is also in charge of getting new prisoners and letting them out. He is also in charge of the overall security of the prison.
