#FixTheCountry convener Vormawor leads demo against 1992 Constitution in Tamale
Oliver Mawuse Barker-Vormawor, who is in charge of the #FixTheCountry movement, led hundreds of Ghanaians to Tamale in the Northern Region to protest against the 1992 Constitution of the Fourth Republic.
Vormawor thinks that the constitution needs to be completely changed and fixed.
The protesters, who were dressed in red and carrying signs with different messages, said that the “sakawa constitution” of 1992 has problems.
One person who was protesting said “I’m here to help us all because we all deserve a Ghana that works for everyone and leaders who will lead us to success and prosperity.
And I think we should make them answer for what they did. I also think that people should be responsible for their own lives so that we can all be happy as a country.”
