Full 2024 BECE Sample WAEC Questions
It’s 32 days more to the BECE, and candidates, teachers, parents, and schools can get the full 2024 BECE sample questions from WAEC here.
The clock is ticking so fast towards 2024, and there are only 32 days until the exam. This translates to 384 hours, or 2 weeks and 2 days more.
We will administer the examination from July 8th to July 15th, 2024. In this post, we share the full 2024 BECE sample questions from WAEC with all candidates and schools who have not come across the full pack of questions from WAEC.
WAEC’s late-released questions contain sample questions on 11 subjects. WAEC will administer BECE subjects in 2024.
The National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA) has introduced the new Common Core Curriculum, which the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) will use to administer the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) for 2024. The subjects to be administered include:
English Language
Mathematics
Integrated Science
Social Studies
Religious and moral education
Computing (ICT)
French (Optional)
Career Technology
Ghanaian language and culture
Career Technology
Arabic
These subjects cover a wide range of skills and knowledge areas essential for the holistic development of students in basic education. The Common Core Curriculum emphasizes critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and other 21st-century skills.
However, the question samples released by NaCCA have a different approach compared to those of WAEC. WAEC’s sample questions only include a preamble and direct questions, whereas NaCCA’s sample questions specifically cater to the critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity skills of examination candidates. This has created some confusion among teachers, heads, and schools since the two samples do not converge, making it difficult for stakeholders to choose which to go with while preparing their candidates.

Schools and teachers should continue to use both direct questions and the new approach, and use WAEC and NaCCA question types as they prepare their candidates.
