General Important Info Every KNUST Fresher Should Know before 14th January
The administration of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has released the names of people who were accepted into different programs for the academic year 2022–2023.
If you go to https://apps.knust.edu.gh/admissions/check on the KNUST admission portal, you can check your admission status.
On your preferred admission list on the page, you can find out if a possible student has been accepted or not (e.g. Undergraduate or Postgraduate). Then, choose your course of study or type your last name into the search box and click the search button to see your admission status.
After finding his or her program of study on the Admission Portal, a student must print the Admission Letter.
KNUST Fees Schedule For 2022/2023 Undergraduate Regular Students
After confirming your admission and printing your admission letter, students must pay the fees listed on the fee schedule into the KNUST MAIN FEES COLLECTION ACCOUNT at any of the following banks: GCB BANK/ECOBANK/UBA BANK/CAL BANK/BARCLAYS BANK/GT BANK and GHANA POST.

When it comes to lodging, you’ll have to choose your room online through the portal (you need to be fast about this part to avoid complications). KNUST Halls of residence
Traditionally, KNUST has six (6) main halls, which include: Independence Hall, Africa Hall, University Hall, Republic Hall, Unity Hall, and Queens Hall.
2022/2023 KNUST Freshers Arrival
The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology’s management has decided that classes for first-year students will start again on Saturday, January 14.
“When you get to campus, you need to go to your halls of residence to sign in and get the keys to your rooms. Staff and student leaders will be there in large numbers to greet you and help you with all the important paperwork. (You should be very careful when dealing with drivers and people who carry luggage.)
Medical Examination for 2022 Freshers
For the new school year, the University will officially set up a medical exam for all new students.
The goal of the exercise is to find out what diseases might make it hard for students to do well in school and let the medical staff know how to help the students, so they can keep studying.
KNUST Biometric and Course Registration
Students will go through biometric registration and online course registration for the semester after they have been accepted.

According to the US News and World Report rankings for 2021, the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi has been named the best university in Ghana for the second year in a row.
It is also the 12th-best university in Africa. Last year, the University was ranked as the 14th best in Africa. But Webometrics put KNUST as the second-best university in Ghana on their list.
