GES closing date for university and diploma graduates recruitment released (Facts Checked)
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has proactively and swiftly debunked the content of a press release that indicated the closing date for university graduate recruitment into second-cycle schools.
Although the GES and the Minister of Education have hinted that they are preparing to hire graduates from universities with education programme certificates, they have not yet announced the start date or the closing date.
However, the GES has confirmed as fake the letter trending on social media with the heading “Deadline for recruitment of diploma holders and degree holders,” suggesting that the GES has set August 22nd as the closing date for university graduates and diploma holders to apply for recruitment. This information was posted as a comment on the GES’s official Facebook page.

In response to the fake press release, the GES posted a fake letter with the same fake writing on it, which was shared on its portal by a commentator. According to the response from the managers of pre-tertiary education, university graduates and diploma holders should disregard the said letter as it lacks authenticity and does not originate from the GES.
