GES opens 2024 recruitment portal to hire university graduates
The management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) under the auspices of the Ministry of Education has opened https://gespromotions.gov.gh to hire university graduates in the country to join its vibrant educational community.
The recruitment portal according to GES is open to individuals holding a Bachelor of Education certificate, offering them an opportunity to contribute to professional growth and commitment to nation-building
It indicated that the applications from the Bachelor of Education certificate (B.Ed.) university graduates will be accepted online at the GES recruitment portal from 3rd September to 10th September 2024.
Job Purpose
- To facilitate learning using 21st-century technology.
- Continuously improve learners’ abilities to research using modern technologies.
- Teach highly motivated learners, catering to diverse learning abilities and helping them achieve excellent academic results.
- Attend continuous professional development sessions to keep up with modern educational trends.
- Utilize a variety of assessment tools to evaluate learners’ competencies accurately.
- Handle any other responsibilities assigned by their respective Head of Institution.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education.
- License from the National Teaching Council (NTC).
- National Service Certificate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate learners.
- Readiness to work wherever their services are needed.

All applicants are required to submit the following documents during the application process:
- Degree Certificate.
- National Service Certificate (NSS).
- NTC Licensure Number.
- Ghana Card.
- A passport-sized photograph.
