GES postpones reopening date of SHS 1 students

GES postpones reopening date of SHS 1 students.

GES postpones reopening date of SHS 1 disclosed a new SHS1 Re-opening date for first-year students. Management of the Ghana Education Service has in a press released disclosed that first-year Senior High School students shall report to school from Thursday, 18th March to Sunday 21st March 2021 instead of the 18th March date announced days after the release of the 2020 school placements.

This was contained in a press release by the education service on 7th March 2021.

Reasons for GES’ postponed reopening date of SHS 1 students

The new date has been necessitated by the challenges that some students have in accessing and completing their placements.

The New Re-Opening Date For SHS 1 Students also means candidates going through the self-placement system to get enrolled in schools will have more time to do that.
