Ghana is in Economic Crisis and the reality you don’t understand will become clear when you finish reading this.
THE REALITY
Your salary in January 2022 was 3,000, equivalent to $483. You were buying a liter of fuel for 7cedis for your car. You were buying two pieces of Kofi Brokeman for 2cedis. You were buying pure water for 0.20p. With 5cedis, you could get a full pack of gob3 for lunch.
Today is 16th October 2022, and the same salary of 3,000 is now $247. This means you have lost half of your salary due to poor economic management. Meanwhile, you have to pay 14 CEDIS for a liter of fuel for your car. Pure water is now 0.50p. 5cedis for two pieces of Kofi Brockman.
As for other increments, I won’t talk about them. Anyway, fuel prices are expected to go up by 10% on Monday, and it will affect everything.
Transportation will also increase by 40% close to the month
We are in CRISIS as a country. It is no longer funny.
