“The attention of the Management of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNES) has been drawn to an e-recruitment on social media, especially Facebook. The GNFS wishes to inform the public that the Service is not recruiting, neither is the Service calling applicants for Medical Examination, Appointment Letters, Attachment nor Training. Management of GNES wants the general public to take note that the Service has not contracted any individual, entity nor any third party to conduct E-Recruitment or sell application forms on its behalf and thus, all such publications are to be disregarded. The general public is hereby informed that the official handle of the Ghana National Fire Service across all social media platforms remains gnfsofficial.
Management is by this release urging the general public to help the Service in its resolute quest to fight this recruitment fraud on social media by reporting all individuals, persons, and entities involved in this criminal venture to the appropriate law enforcement agencies for immediate and necessary action, or call our help line on 0299341436 for assistance from Monday to Friday between the hours of 0800 hours to 1600 hours. Management shall officially communicate and advertise for vacancies in the National Daily Newspapers (Daily Graphic / Ghanaian Times) to notify the public when clearance is given to recruit people into the Service.”
