Gov’t of Ghana Declares 2nd, 5th April Holidays to Mark Easter
2nd, 5th April declared holidays to mark Good Friday and Easter Monday.
The government of Ghana through the Ministry of Interior has declared Friday, 2nd April 2021 and Monday, 5th April 2021 holidays.
The two days mark Good Friday and Easter Monday, which will be observed as statutory public holidays.
“The public is hereby informed that Friday, 2nd April 2021 and Monday, 5th April 2021 which mark Good Friday and Easter Monday respectively.”
Ghanaeducation.org sighted this announcement by the leadership of the Ministry of Interior in a blog post.
Hon Ambrose Dery, the Interior Minister who doubles as the Member of Parliament for Nandom urged members of the general public are to observed the holidays throughout the country.
