Following the late suspension of admission of 2021 Potential Ph.D. candidates, GIMPA has decided to refund admission fees paid by all applicants. In an email sent to all applicants, the institution said due to its inability to admit applicants into the Ph.D. Programs this academic year, it would refund the cost of application forms.
Applicants are to indicate their preferred means of payment. They are to also provide details such as the accounts the money should be transferred to. In an earlier post published by this portal, “GIMPA suspends Ph.D. Admissions into Business School, after receiving admission fees, the post suggested that GIMPA needs to provide options to students so that those who do not want to access doctorial education any longer due to the suspension of admissions can get their admission fees refunded.
The current decision is commendable, however, there are no clear procedures, representatives, or phone numbers that applicants must contact to get their admission fees refunded to them.
Below is the full message from GIMPA to applicants.
