GNAT Decides 2022: Isaac Owusu is New GNAT National President-Elect
Information reaching Ghanaeducation.org indicates that Rev. Dr. Isaac Owusu is the new GNAT National President-Elect. The election of the National President went to the run-off since none of the candidates obtained 50% plus 1 vote as required by the GNAT constitution.
The results before the run-off showed that out of 651 Delegates who were expected to vote, 636 voted. Tachie Prosper pulled 288 votes whiles Isaac Owusu obtained 248 votes. At the end of the Run-off, Mr. Isaac Owusu is the new GNAT National President-Elect. The keenly contest GNAT National President position saw Mr. Isaac Owusu emerging victor with a difference of 2 votes.

The newly-elected National Executives will provide leadership to the oldest teacher union in Ghana for the next four years.
