A lot of final year students keep asking whether WAEC has officially released the 2023 WASSCE and BECE timetable for school candidates.
Ghanaeducation.org has got you covered. Before we get into that, let’s look at what WAEC is saying about the 2023 BECE. According to WAEC, the 2023 BECE will officially commence on Monday, 7th August, 2023 and end on Friday, 11th August, 2023.
This year’s exams will be written earlier as compared to the previous years. In 2022, the examination was administered to candidates from 17th October to 21st October.

WAEC has stated clearly that the official timetable will first be published on WAEC’s official website. There has been a number of Timetables circulating on social media. These trending Timetables have not been published on WAEC’s website, neither havd they been published on any of their social media platforms.
Ghanaeducation.org cannot confirm whether such timetables are fake or legit. However, using the rules of WAEC, such timetable will not be considered as the official timetable from WAEC.

2023 WASSCE Timetable
As it stands now, The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has not released the official timetable for the 2023 WASSCE on its website. However a trending copy of the 2023 WASSCE timetable is out. WAEC is yet to release the timetable officially.

FINAL SC 2023 (GHANA ONLY) UPDATED APRIL 3 2023
The 2023 WASSCE will officially begin on Monday, 31st July, 2023. Ghana will once again write the WASSCE alone.
