This is the true account of what happened to Davido’s dead son, Ifeanyi, may his soul rest in perfect peace.
According to SP Benjamin Hundeyin, a spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, eight members of artist Davido’s domestic staff have been questioned after his son Ifeanyi drowned. Ifeanyi, who turned three on October 20, died in the singer’s pool on Banana Island on Monday, October 31.
According to Hundley, who spoke with LIB, eight members of the domestic staff were brought in for questioning today, November 1st.
He claimed that those found not to be responsible for the tragic situation would be released after the investigation, while those found to be responsible would be detained by the police for further investigation.
“They were brought in for questioning rather than arrest. Anyone found not guilty will be released immediately, while those found guilty will remain with us to help us with our investigation,” he said.
According to a person familiar with the tragic incident, the Chef joined the Nanny and Ifeanyi.
According to reports, the Nanny took a step back to take a phone call. When she returned, Ifeanyi was not there, so she assumed he was with the Chef. The Chef, on the other hand, claimed that he had left Ifeanyi with her. They searched the mansion for Ifeanyi for about 20 minutes before a security guard discovered him in the pool.
Everyone was puzzled as to how the boy got into the water. According to reports, Davido and Chioma were informed of the tragic news when they returned home from their trip.

After the boy’s body was taken to the mortuary, there are indications that an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
The singer’s family, entourage, and co-workers, on the other hand, are not allowed to visit Davido at his father’s house, where he and Chioma are hiding out.
