Barcelona faces Real Madrid on Sunday 15th January 2023 in an El Classico derby for the Spanish supercup.

Real Madrid’s manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has had a turbulent start to the 2022-23 season.

But that hasn’t stopped them from making big moves ahead of the 2023 Spanish Super Cup, which will be held in Saudi Arabia’s King Fahd Stadium.

Here’s how Real Madrid might line up against Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup in 2023.

Thibaut Courtois will be the undisputed starter in goal, supported by Andriy Lunin. The experienced defensive line of Antonio Rudiger and Eder Militao will be flanked by Dani Carvajal and David Alaba.

Toni Kroos, Luka Modri, and Aurelien Tchouameni will be joined in the midfield by the attacking quartet of Rodrygo Goes, Karim Benzema, Vinicius Jr., and Marco Asensio, who will undoubtedly cause problems for the Barcelona defense.

Real Madrid has put together a squad capable of challenging current champions Barcelona, and the team will be hoping to win the Super Cup.

Whatever the outcome of the competition, one thing is certain: it will be an exciting match between two of the biggest clubs in the world.
