There is no such thing as free money.
There is no such thing as free credit. There is no free data available via links anywhere in Africa.
What’s the distinction between http and https? Please read this all the way through.
Some of you may be aware of this distinction, but it is worth noting for those who are not.
The primary distinction between https:// and https:// is one of security.
HTTP is an abbreviation for HyperText Transfer Protocol.
The S stands for “Secure,” as you might expect. If you go to a Website or web page and look at the address in your web browser, it will most likely start with: https:///.
This means that the website is communicating with your browser in plain text. In other words, someone could “eavesdrop” on your computer’s conversation with the Website. Someone may see the information you send to a website if you fill out a form on that site.
This is why you should never enter your credit card number in an online form.
Visit the How To Disconnect An Ignition Interlock Device Http website as well! However, if the web address begins with https://, it means your computer is communicating with the website securely.
Secure code that no one can read.
You see why this is so important now, don’t you?
If you are ever asked to enter your credit/debit card information on a website, do so.
You should automatically check the web for information.
The URL starts with https://.
If it doesn’t, never enter sensitive information like a credit/debit card number.
When checking the name of any website, look for the domain extension first (.com or .org, .co, .in, .net etc). The name immediately preceding this is the website’s domain name. For example, in the above URL, https://amazon.diwali-festivals.com, the word before the dot is “Diwali-festivals” (not “amazon”). So, this page does not belong to Amazon.com, but to “Diwali-festivals.com,” which we have never heard of.
You can also look for bank fraud.
Check that the name just before “.com” is the name of your bank before you log in. “Something.Ecobank.com” belongs to Ecobank; but, Ecobank.some1else.com belongs to “some1else.
You should have learned something new, so please spread the word and educate others. Keep an eye out for scammers (Yahoo boys) and cyber criminals these days!
