Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has some Scholarships for interested brilliant and needy students to apply for.

There are several Scholarship schemes available for students to apply but they also have requirements eligibilities attached to their humanity works.

How To Apply For KNUST Scholarships, Guidlines

Below is a list of four (4) Scholarship schemes available for KNUST students.

Available Scholarships At KNUST

  • Edu Fondazione Scholarship.
  • Mark Foundation Scholarship.
  • Hulede Foundation KNUST Scholarship.
  • Educational Pathways International Scholarships.

1. Edu Fondazione Scholarship

The scheme is called in full Education Fondazione Scholarship. They are working with Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) collaboratively to light up the future of brilliant and needy students willing to pursue their tertiary education.

How to apply for Edu Fondazione Scholarship

Edu Fondazione Scholarship ELIGIBILITY

  1. Applicants/students MUST be Ghanaian.
  2. Only fresh students (1st years) are allowed to apply for the scholarship. They should be students who are pursuing a Full-Time programme at KNUST.
  3. The applicants/students MUST not be on (a beneficiary) any other Scholarship scheme as of the time you want to apply at Edu Fondazione Scholarship.

REQUIREMENTS

The following documents are vital for the application:

  1. Admission letter.
  2. Acceptance letter.
  3. WASSCE Certificate.
  4. Terminal reports /or High School Transcripts.
  5. Recommendation letters /or Testimonial.
  6. Awards and Certificates can be added only if you have any.
  7. Proof of need is also a requirement.

MODE OF APPLICATION

All the needed documents as listed MUST be sealed in an envelope.
The name of the applicant, their programme, and reference number should be written on the envelope eligibly.

Take note: The accepted font size and font type for any writeup should be 12 and Times New Roman respectively. Also, it MUST be double-spaced.
NB: Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted for an interview.

The envelope should be submitted to the Students’ Affairs and Financial Services Office at the Dean of Students Office, J Harper Building.

2. Mark Foundation Scholarship

It is a Scholarship scheme meant to assist only females who are Ghanaians. They must gain admission to KNUST School of Business.

Mark Foundation Scholarship ELIGIBILITY

All applicants/students MUST be FEMALES (Ghanaians).

MUST complete SHS with an aggregate of not more than 10.

3. Hulede Foundation KNUST Scholarship

This Scholarship Foundation offers interested brilliant but needy students 1-year Scholarship to study from all disciplines in the university (It is a scholarship for all brilliant and needy students meant to support any programme of study for just a year).

How To Apply for Hulede Foundation KNUST Scholarship

Hulede Foundation KNUST Scholarship ELIGIBILITY

All brilliant but needy students from Year 1 – Year 3 are eligible to apply. Also, the said students MUST be pursuing a Full-Time programme at KNUST as well.

REQUIREMENTS

The following are the requirements:

  1. For continuing applicants /students, a minimum class is needed.
  2. You MUST be at least a Second-Class Upper holder at the moment of applying.
    For freshers, they MUST pass with an aggregate of 15, at least in their WASSCE.
  3. All the requirements of the first Scholarship scheme are valid for freshers.
  4. For continuing students, you MUST add your KNUST Transcript /or result slip.
    The scripts MUST be signed and authorized by ONLY the Heads of the Department.
  5. In addition, your current 2nd Sem. results should be included.

4. Educational Pathways International Scholarships

As the name suggests, it is an international foundation that ought to assist brilliant but needy Full-time programme studying students at KNUST.

How To Apply For Educational Pathways International Scholarships

Educational Pathways International Scholarships ELIGIBILITY

All brilliant but needy students from Year 1 – Year 3 are eligible to apply. Also, the said students MUST be pursuing a Full-Time programme at KNUST as well.

REQUIREMENTS

The following are the requirements:

  1. For continuing applicants /students, a minimum class is needed.
  2. You MUST be at least a strong Second-Class Upper holder at the moment of applying.
  3. For freshers, they MUST pass with an aggregate of 9 at least in their WASSCE.
    All the requirements of the above Scholarship scheme are valid for freshers.
  4. For continuing students, you MUST add your KNUST Transcript /or result slip.
    The scripts MUST be signed and authorized by ONLY the Heads of the Department.
  5. In addition, your current 2nd Sem. results should be included.
