Opoku Ware Senior High School Has Qualified For the National Science And Mathematics Quiz Final for the 2023 Edition.

The National Science and Mathematics Quiz is one of the National quiz events in Ghana solely concerned with Science and Mathematics. The motive and purpose is to build more interest in Ghanaian Children for the need to pursue Mathematics and Science in Higher education. Opoku Ware Wonder boy named Stephen Baah speaks about his school selection saying ” I wanted to go to PRESEC Legon and Prempeh initially”.

Following his tremendous performance to see his school through to the finals of the 2023 edition of the National Science and Mathematics quiz, Stephen Baah Has become a National Icon on all media Channels. A lot has been said about him from his teachers, his colleagues, friends,  classmates, and family members.  Joy News reporters visited Opoku Ware Senior High School in the Ashanti Region to find out more about Stephen Baah. According to the news from Joy News reporters, Stephen Baah confirmed that he is in form 1 but he managed to join the National Science and Mathematics quiz contestants for his school.

Speaking to Joy News, Stephen Baah made it clear that he was pressurized when he opted to join the team because he has a lot to cover in other to prepare massively for the school. Stephen Baah added that Opoku Ware Senior High Schools wSchoolart of his plans after he completed Junior High school.  Speaking further, Stephen Baah revealed that he was in the basic school (Junior High school) form 2 and he plans to be in Prempeh College after his Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE). Along the line, he changed his mind to be in PRESEC Legon when he was in JHS 3. Even after the BECE, PRESEC Legon was his target until another incident occurred where he was admitted to Opoku Ware Senior High School.

” I wanted to go to Prempeh or PRESEC initially. I didn’t have Opoku Ware Senior High School in mind even after my Basic Education Certificate Examination. It was at the later part that I came to OWASS”. – Stephen Bah Stated.
