International Math Olympiad 2023 Results (held in Japan)

International Math Olympiad 2023 held in Japan is over, and the results are out.

On Wednesday, July 12th, the 64th International Mathematical Olympiad Japan results were announced.

After the two-day competition held on Saturday, July 8th, and Sunday, July 9th, the coordination, grading meeting, took place, and as a result, they decided on the final scores.

According to the International Mathematical Olympiad rules, approximately 1/12 of the participants receive a gold medal, 2/12 receive a silver medal, and 3/12 receive a bronze medal. Furthermore, even if they do not receive a medal, contestants who score a perfect 7 points on at least one problem are awarded an honorable mention.

At the end of the global mathematics competition held in Japan, China emerged as the best globally followed by the United States of America, South Korea, Romania, and Canada.

The International Math Olympiad (IMO) is a prestigious competition that brings together talented young mathematicians from around the world.
