Job Vacancy For Cloud Architect
purpose
• To provide expertise, advice and support through taking accountability for the end-to-end cloud computing environment and all initiatives that relate to cloud This includes architecting, designing, facilitating, leading and directing cloud initiatives on multiple fronts.
• Responsible for directing the architectural aspects of cloud services and brokering team across all aspects of IT and the business
responsibilities
• Assess own performance through seeking timely and clear feedback and request training where appropriate
• Manage application portfolio lifecycle, data, identity and access, define security, privacy and compliance standards within cloud
• Serve as the subject matter expert and play on a consultative role as it pertains to cloud solutions
• Develop and manage cloud architecture\landscape
• Manages risks in own area of responsibility
• Deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standards
• Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation
• Prevent wastage and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs
• Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own development
• Display and encourage an appreciation of teamwork and inclusivity
• Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships across area of specialisation
Qualification Required & Experience

• Minimum Qualification – Relevant degree or industry certification in architecture
• Preferred Qualification – Azure or AWS certified solutions architect
• Experience – 10 years experience in an IT environment, with at least 2 to 3 years experience in Solutions Architecture and system/cloud engineering
