Job Vacancy For Electrical Technician

Knowledge / Skills

• Understand and translate electrical drawings or diagrams
• Assemble, install, test and maintain safety and distribution components, electrical wiring and equipment using hand and power tools
• Install, configure and test UPS for full functionality
• Inspect electrical system, equipment and components to identify faults, defects and hazard and the need for adjustment, repair or replace and to ensure compliance with codes
• Install, maintain, repair or replace electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures using ladders and scaffolds
• Prepare and assemble conducts and connect wires through them
• Fasten metal and plastic enclosures to walls to house electrical switches or outlets
• Fasten sockets to foor to serve equipment
• Provide sketches of installation before and after
• Ensure that all project sites must be left clean and tidy after job completion at the site
• Good customer relationship management skills

Qualification Required & Experience

• HND, Diploma, NTVI or an equivalent professional certificate in Electrical engineering
• 2 years of experience as an electrical technician
• Demonstrate the ability to use electrical and hand tools
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines
• Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work for long hours and overnights
• Valid professional license
