JUST IN: Boko Haram Suspect, 2 Others Arrested in Ghana

Boko Haram Suspect Arrested in Ghana
In the Upper East Region of Ghana, the military, police, and immigration officers worked together to catch a man who they thought was a Boko Haram fighter.
A report from Joynews says that the joint security force tracked the suspect, whose name was Hassan Hussein, to his hiding place in Bolgatanga, the capital of the region, where he was arrested on Sunday, October 30, 2022.
The suspect has ties to the Nigerian Jihadist group Boko Haram, according to early investigations. Sources in security say that the suspect was found with a wound that may have been caused by a gunshot.
The report also said that the suspect was arrested after two people who had been arrested earlier around Nasia barrier in the Mamprusi West Municipality of the North East Region and had said that Hassan Hussein was their leader had mentioned him.
Since then, the police have started their investigations, and the other two suspects have been asked to come to Accra for more questions.
