The wife of the former President of the 4th Republic of Ghana, Mrs Theresa Kufuor, has just been confirmed dead. The former President’s wife, Theresa Kufuor, died at the age of 88.
The sad news of the demise of the former first lady of Ghana, Theresa Kufuor, was shared by numerous top media outlets on the evening of Sunday, October 1st 2023.
As of now, many netizens and citizens do not believe the news about the death of the former first lady, Theresa Kufuor. This is because in the years, 2017, 2019, and 2021, the late Mrs Theresa was tied with numerous death stories, which at the end were all false.
What makes a difference now, is that top family sources have confirmed the devastating news about the demise of Mrs Theresa.
The family is yet to release an official statement about the news of her demise. Per reports, sympathizers and close family friends and relatives have converged around the residence of the former first lady.
The former first lady, Mrs Theresa Kufuor, begun her education in Keta, at the Catholic Convent, which can be found in the Volta Region.
Mrs. Theresa then furthered her education in the London, United Kingdom. She furthered and became a Registered Nurse in the UK. She worked as a Registered General Nurse in Devon at the Southern Hospital of Nursing in the United Kingdom.
She then gained a qualification as a certified state midwife. Furthermore, she studied at Radcliffe Infirmary in Oxford, where she gained her certificate as a qualified midwife.
The late Theresa Kufuor met the former President, John Kufuor in 1961 in London. Former President, John Kufuor, got married at the age of 23.
The late Mrs. Theresa Kufuor had five children with former President John Kufuor; Owusu Afriyie Kufuor, Nana Ama Gyamfi, Addo Kufuor, Saah Kufuor, and Agyekum Kufuor.
She was the first lady for eight year; 2001 to 2009. May her soul rest in the bosom of our Lord.
