JUST IN: President Akufo-Addo Makes Changes In His Government

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has made the following modifications to his government’s composition with immediate effect.
KT Hammond, MP for Adansi Asokwa, has been appointed to replace Alan Kyerematen as Trade and Industry Minister.
Bryan Acheampong, MP for Abetifi Constituency, has also been appointed Minister of Food and Agriculture, while Osei Bonsu Amoah, MP for Akwapim South, has been appointed Minister of State at the Ministry of Local Government.
Stephen Amoah, MP for Nhyiaeso and former President of MASLOC, has been appointed Deputy Trade Minister.
Former Director-General of the State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA), Stephen Asamoah-Boateng, is appointed as the new Minister of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs.
Mohammed Amin Adam has also been appointed as a Minister of State in the Ministry of Finance.
Herbert Krapa, a Deputy Trade Minister, has been appointed Deputy Minister of Energy.
