Ken Agyapong donates ¢100,000 to victims of dam spillage
Renowned business magnate and aspiring presidential candidate, Ken Ohene Agyapong, has demonstrated his commitment to helping those affected by the recent dam spillage in Ghana by making a generous donation of GH₵100,000.00 and essential relief items.
Expressing his heartfelt sympathies for the affected communities, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong assured them that he would take every necessary step to ensure that the Volta River Authority (VRA) promptly compensates the victims who were displaced due to the Akosombo Dam spillage in the Volta River.
The devastating floodwaters caused by the spillage had a significant impact on several communities, including Mepe and surrounding areas. In response to this crisis, the seasoned politician and business magnate, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, took the lead in providing much-needed relief to the affected communities across the Central, South, North Tongu, and Keta constituencies.
The relief items generously donated by Mr. Agyapong’s team included 300 bags of 50kg rice, 300 packs of bottled water, 50 pieces of first aid kits, and a substantial monetary contribution of GH₵100,000.00. This comprehensive support reflects Mr. Agyapong’s commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of those who have been adversely affected by the natural disaster.
