Ghana’s youth are broke, jobs do not exist for graduates, and you keep writing countless applications when all you need is knowledge, understanding, and wisdom.

By the time you get to the end of this write-up, I plead that you do your life and income a favour. That is, to learn an IT skill and apply the knowledge in an IT-enabled work environment to reach your full potential. Read on as I provoke your hunger for success and financial independence using IT and Wisdom.

There are three words that should make your life work, which will define your success and help you tap into your full potential and IT, and give you enough earnings on a monthly basis.

These are Knowledge (Information), Understanding (Comprehension), and Wisdom (Application of your knowledge and understanding). The sad reality is that many of us are either at the knowledge-seeking phase or the Understanding-phase, and we may remain in one of these stages forever. In fact, millions of us belong to the first two phases and may never reach the Wisdom Phase.

To evolve and have a decent income, you need the wisdom to apply your knowledge. The Application of your knowledge and understanding is a sign of reaching the Wisdom phase, which just a few business-minded persons have attained.  Integrating Wisdom and Technology gives you super application capabilities and a competitive edge. Out of the three, only wisdom works and produces favourable fruits and leads to productivity.

If you chase after knowledge and understanding and fail to apply wisdom, you are like a corn husk on fire. Soon, you will lose steam and go nowhere.

Knowledge application is of key importance in the development of successful new products. Knowledge application refers to an organization or an individual’s timely response to technological change by utilizing the knowledge and technology generated into new products, services, and processes that yield better results and output.

Today, with knowledge in Science, many of us see technology around us and all we have decided to do with them and about them is to master how these technologies and explain how they work instead of learning how to and applying them to solve problems and create businesses out of them.

Go to fiverr.com and see how young men and women across the world are leveraging their IT skills and solving problems for clients globally and are getting paid well-deserved income that you cannot earn a month for a day job. In the image below, you see how much these guys are paid for by each client they work for in dollars. Just by the yellow star is a number in ash. That is the number of clients they have worked for without leaving home. Multiply it by the $ fee and ask yourself if you are really making enough income from a usual day job without an IT skill to leverage on. You can now see for yourself the genuine income people who have knowledge understanding and skills are making online genuinely. Ghanaians have been wired to believe that online work is a scam and a crime, and that is a very big lie you have believed.
