Meet the 26-year-old Sandra Donkor who communicates with dead bodies

Sandra Donkor, who is 26 years old, has talked about some sad and scary things she has seen and done with dead bodies since she started working as an Undertaker. Donkor Sandra is an undertaker, which means she buries dead bodies.

She says that Undertakers have a lot of ways to talk to dead people so as not to hurt their feelings.

In an interview with Esi Guyguy that Ghanaeducation.org heard, the brave woman said, “Sometimes, to show the dead the most respect, you have to knock on the door three times before you can enter the room where the dead body is.”

“Before an Undertaker can dress a dead body, the person needs to ask permission from the dead body” Sandra disclosed

“You should let the body know that you are not there to look at him/her naked, but to make him/her beautiful, so you need permission to work on his/her body.”

Sandra Donkor said, “Sometimes you have to go into the room with his or her son or daughter or another family member to show the body that you are not there to hurt him or her, but that his or her family wants him or her to look good.”

“Sometimes, if you only look at the face of the dead person, you can tell they were not happy. You should talk to them. Before we can do anything, we have to get their kids or relatives to talk to them. Without the help of their family, we can’t do anything with the body.
