KNUST BSc Top-Up Admission Forms 2023-2024, How To Apply

Applications are welcome from qualified candidates for admission into the BSc. Top-up Programmes at the Department of Nursing, College of Health Sciences, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi.

Entry Requirements For BSc. Top-Up (Regular) Programmes

  • BSc. Emergency Nursing
  • BSc. Nursing

Applicants must be Holders of Diploma in Nursing with a good pass and must be Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana (NMC) or other recognized Nursing and Midwifery Regulatory body. Applicants must provide the following: NMC Certificate, Diploma Certificate from KNUST or other recognized institutions, WASSCE/SSSCE Certificates/Results Slips and/or KNUST access results, if any. Applicants in this category must satisfy the minimum University entry requirement of credit passes in Six (6) subjects including English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science.

  • BSc. Midwifery

Applicants must be Holders of the Diploma in Midwifery with a good pass and must be Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana (NMC) or other recognized Nursing and Midwifery Regulatory body. Applicants must provide the following: NMC Certificate, Diploma Certificate from KNUST, or other recognized institutions, WASSCE/SSSCE Certificates/Results Slips and/or KNUST access results, if any.

  • BSc. Public Health Nursing

Applicants must be Holders of the Diploma in Community Health Nursing/Public Health Nursing with a good pass and must be Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana (NMC) or other recognized Nursing and Midwifery Regulatory body. Applicants must provide the following: NMC Certificate, Diploma Certificate from KNUST, or other recognized institutions, WASSCE/SSSCE Certificates/Results Slips and/or KNUST access results, if any.

Applicants in this category must satisfy the minimum University entry requirement of credit passes in Six (6) subjects including English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science.

How To Apply For KNUST Top-Up Admissions

  1. Applicants must purchase an e-Voucher at designated Offices of Ghana Post Company Ltd for GHȼ250.00
    The E-voucher code can also be purchased through the USSD code *447*160# on all mobile telecommunication networks.
  2. The e-Voucher contains Login ID or an Application ID, and PIN that will grant access to the online admission portal.
    Applicants should then proceed to the online admissions website at apps.knust.edu.gh/admissions and begin the application process.
  3. Applicants must scan and attach all relevant and mandatory documents to the application online as follows: Academic and professional Certificates, WASSCE Certificate/Results slips, KNUST Access Results.
  4. After the application has been submitted online, applicants are advised to print out a copy for their own use/reference.
  5. Applicants should not submit a hardcopy of the application to the University.

NB: Deadline for the submission of Application Forms is 15th May 2024.
