KNUST Opens 2022/2023 Admission Portal for Applicants to Re-Apply
Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology has officially opened its application portal after accepting students for the 2022–2023 school year.
This gives a chance to students whose WASSCE scores were held back or who didn’t get into school.
This change is only given to people who applied before the deadline but weren’t accepted.
Management at KNUST says that regular admission is full, but there may be spots in other ways to get in, such as through FEE PAYING/PARALLEL/IDL DIPLOMA/LIMITED VACANCIES in certain programs.
Difference between a regular student and a fee-paying student.
In public universities, students who pay tuition fees will be charged the real cost of their tuition, which makes their fees high.
Regular students, on the other hand, don’t have to pay tuition because the government pays for it.
They still have to pay fees to cover other costs, though. Most of the time, regular students have to meet the cut-off point before they can get into a certain program.
In other words, a fee-paying student at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology is someone who meets the minimum requirements for admission but doesn’t get in because there were too many people who applied and did better than him/her.
Students who pay a fee and students who don’t pay a fee go to the same lectures, classes, lectures, and exams.
NOTE: Fee-Paying at KNUST is only for people who don’t meet the cut-off total for their chosen programs.
Fee-paying admission means that you have to pay the full fee for the whole length of the program.
