- Applicants should always check notifications from their admissions portal.
- Applicants should call the admissions office if they have any questions.
- Applicants should be wary of links that come in unsolicited emails or messages.
The university is taking steps to address the issue of fake admissions messages:
- The university is working with law enforcement to investigate the individuals behind the fake messages.
- The university is increasing awareness of the scam among applicants.
- The university is implementing additional security measures to protect applicants’ personal information.
Applicants are encouraged to take the following steps to protect themselves:
- Do not respond to any unsolicited emails or messages that claim to be from KNUST.
- Do not click on any links in unsolicited emails or messages.
- Do not provide any personal information to anyone who claims to be from KNUST.
